This Pimentel is truly one of a kind with amazing southwest inlay and artistry that includes real turquoise. The guitar is a rare steel string offering from Pimentel and was 100% custom ordered and one-off. The top is a lovely straight grained spruce and the back and sides are Mesquite, a fitting choice for such an emblematically Southwestern instrument. This guitar sounds wonderful, especially when fingerpicked. The classical guitar build influence is apparent as the guitar has a wide classical neck and has a very nice acoustic response and volume to fingerpicking especially.
