Joe’s Vintage Guitar’s is proud to offer this fantastic 1954 Les Paul, available for sale for the first time since new! Clarence Elbert purchased this instrument brand new from Korten’s Music Store in Longview, WA in 1954. He was a fan of Les Paul, Chet Atkins, The Ventures, Joan Baez, Simon and Garfunkel and many more and played the guitar until his passing in 2005.
Come on!!! One owner, light weight, chunky neck, 100% original and a LOOK to die for, with just the right amount of non-excessive vintage wear and patina. This beauty comes with the original case as well! The guitar plays very well with a nice neck, working truss rod and nice low action. It has an incredible tone and feel that simply cannot be replicated by a modern instrument. This is a once in a lifetime Les Paul with an incredible story and pedigree. Included with the guitar are several photos of Clarence with his guitar, as well as a letter written by his daughter, detailing the history of her father and the guitar.
