WHAT A STRAT! This 7.56lb beauty is resonant as can be and sounds absolutely fantastic with a nice chimey neck pickup and a clear and balanced bridge pickup. The electronics are completely original down to the 3 way switch. Additionally, the finish it original as is all the hardware. The guitar evidently had some different tuners on it at some point, but it now sports the original klusons. There was also a second string tree on the guitar at some point where a small hole now resides. There is also a second small hole on the headstock, probably for a 3rd string tree at some point. The guitar comes with a non original hard case. This is a killer vintage strat that plays and sounds absolutely fantastic.
Just to Recap, It is all original with the exception of:
-two small non factory string tree holes in the headstock.
-screw holes from having non original tuners at some point
-back trem spring cover is missing
-non original case.
And thats it! Get this killer 66 strat with all of the good original stuff intact at a great price. Please note, while the neck plate serial does seem to indicate 1967, the neck heel stamp reads 66. This is common with fenders from this era.
