Fender Telecaster Custom 1968 – Factory Candy Apple Red

$26,500.00

Sometimes, rare isn’t a strong enough word! This Telecaster Custom from 1968 sports its original Candy Apple Red finish and looks like a million bucks! It has a rarely seen on a custom original maple cap neck. It has an aftermarket Bigsby but is otherwise all original! This guitar has plenty of vibey, non-excessive wear and looks like a million bucks. It plays great with a characteristic medium/slim 68 neck. The original frets have some wear but still play great with no fretting out. The neck pickup is glassy and musical, and the bridge pickup has plenty of full and in your face twang. The original bridge has a few notches filed into it near the bass and treble strings to allow the strings to go smoothly into the Bigsby. The electronics are all original minus the one little volume pot resistor which has been removed. The bridge pickup has been rewound my Jim Rolph. The guitar comes with a non original hard case and ships promptly and fully insured. Wondering about the year it was made?
