Just in from the son of the original owner! This fantastic 1960 Special is 100% original down to the bumblebee caps! This guitar is light weighs, super resonant, and has a fantastic sounding pair of balanced and articulate p90s! It sports a super fast slim neck profile that is a tad bit more substantial than necks that came later in 1960 and onward. The guitar has one typical vertical “truss rod” neck crack that was professionally repaired long ago. The neck is super straight and the truss rod functions perfectly. The guitar plays with low action and has perfect frets and a dark chocolatey Brazilian Rosewood board. The original finish is a beautiful dark cherry with beautiful and not excessive checking.
