Guild S-200 Thunderbird 1965 – Sunburst

Up for grabs is this fantastic one-owner Guild S-200 from 1965! The guitar is overall in wonderful shape with a nice clean finish that just has some chips and dings along the edges. The frets are in fantastic shape and the guitar plays and sounds fantastic. The original “mickey mouse” pickups sound fantastic thanks to our shop professionally removing the capacitor on the back of them (capacitors included and easily reinstalled if desired). The stock caps that were mounted on the back of these pickups from the factory make them sound throttled and muddy. This guitar has a nice chunky neck that is a joy to play. The guitar is light weight and looks like a million bucks. Comes with original case and strap (the strap cushion material is deteriorating and falling apart.). Ships promptly and fully insured.
