Martin 00-21 1929 – CLEAN! Incredible Sound!

Oooof! This one is CRISP! From the family of the original owner, this beautiful instrument is all original aside from one fret! It has only one repaired side crack and is otherwise completely crack free. It just got back from a neck reset. (crack repair and neck reset performed by local Martin whiz, Nikki. See detailed receipt) The original finish is in fantastic shape and the tone and feel of the guitar are absolutely breathtaking. The guitar plays with fantastic low action and has a stunning clarity and volume when fingerpicked. It is a very responsive guitar, capable of getting very loud and percussive, as well as whisper soft and delicate all whilst retaining a lovely clarity and sweetness. These early steel braced guitars really are something special with their lightly built tone that is truly without parallel.

This guitar is in great shape overall and has some light finish wear throughout as well as a white scuff on the back, which I’m sure could be removed, with some elbow grease. It is completely crack free minus the one repaired side crack and has some absolutely gorgeous straight grained Brazilian Rosewood on the back and sides, the kind you just can’t find anymore!
