Martin D-28 1963 – One of a kind Vintage Gem

Man! This one is just a total gem! The vintage waterslide decals of the wreath, flowers and cherub are just too cool for words! Totally one of a kind vintage beauty! The guitar is an absolute canon! It resonates and projects like only a nice broken in vintage Brazilian dred can! It seems to want to resonate at the slightest touch and even sounds absolutely fantastic when fingerpicked. It has a lovely woody sweetness and insane volume when flatpicked with that characteristic tight bass. There are two cracks on the top that have been glued long ago and are stable. There is also one super tight small side crack that is very hard to photograph but is there if you look very close in the right light. It has also been glued. All bracing, bridge plate etc are original. The guitar has had a recent neck reset and plays with lovely low action with plenty of saddle protruding.
