Slingerland Songster Model 401 (Round Neck) 1930s – Sunburst

Check out this exceedingly rare Slingerland Songster ROUND NECK from the 1930s. This is the first solid body electric spanish guitar ever made! So cool! This one is in good shape overall and comes with the original hard case. It is all original except for the nut, tailpiece (no additional holes drilled) and 1/4 output cord. It sounds uniquely fantastic with the early Slingerland pickup. You just cant get this sound with anything else! Please note, the geometry of these guitars is not like a modern guitar and they play with fairly high action, still it is an incredible piece of history and very fun to play.
